Tips for booking appointments (private practice):
Private practice reception staff are trained in triage of your case, and any information provided is of great assistance in ensuring your needs can be met.
Information requested is compiled confidentially in your medical file, which greatly benefits the doctors preparation for your appointment.
If you have had medical imaging or have seen other specialists, please have the radiology company and medical specialists name on hand.
Please have ready:
- Physio/GP referral
- Main site of concern
- Relevant specialist letters
- Medicare details
- Radiology/imaging company name/location
- Private radiology servers can be accessed by our doctors – we just need to know which company to access.
- USB stick of any imaging within the public hospital system
- Public hospital medical imaging unfortunately is NOT accessible on servers external to the hospital system.
- Often patients need to physically have the images downloaded onto a USB on site at the hospital.
