Dr Kimberley Wells is a FACSEP-qualified Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician consulting in Kawana on the Sunshine Coast. She provides specialist assessment and treatment for acute sporting injuries, fractures, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, concussion, and exercise-related medical issues. Services include ultrasound-guided injections (PRP, corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, joint aspiration), shockwave therapy, concussion baseline screening, high performance medical screenings, acute knee clinic, osteoarthritis clinic, and orthopaedic surgical assisting. Medical care for active people includes female athlete health, RED-s, iron deficiency, overtraining syndrome, exercise-induced asthma, bone health, metabolic and hormonal health, supplements in sport, anti-doping advice and TUE applications, para-athlete care, and identification of inflammatory arthropathies such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and lupus.
